No will is not…

Also he likely won’t discuss any crime that has been committed by a “person of color”….

I literally cannot stop laughing at the hypocrisy of this clown hosting a town hall to discuss reducing crime.

God bless the Danville resident who opened fire on the two carjackers attempting to steal a car from two residents in front of his home this Tuesday.

SG June 25, 2022 - 6:23 AM - 6:23 AM

Aunt Barbara June 24, 2022 - 11:17 AM - 11:17 AM

Progress would be people stayong off theirr phones in public and being aware of their surroundings. You can’t let your guard down in these desparate times.
Nordstrom looting should have been a warning for Macys..
Let the profiling begin!

The county has not reduced crime, they have reduced prosecutions. When prosecutions are reduced, there are fewer convictions to report, therefore giving the illusion of reducing crime.
The best way to reduce gun violence is to prosecute, and imprison, violent gun offenders for a very long time.

Tsa June 24, 2022 - 12:17 PM - 12:17 PM

Well said 👍🏻

Democrats have found the key to reducing crime: simply redefine what is a crime until you get the desired results. When police will not respond to a crime scene, make you fill out an online form, and then get to decide if what you experienced is actually a crime, residents finally get the message.

When we had 2 hit and run accidents on our street, with both drivers appearing impaired, and the police did nothing… not even fill out a police report, our family got the message and left the state. BTW- contacting the Concord Mayor was a waste of electrons.

“When we had 2 hit and run accidents on our street, with both drivers appearing impaired, and the police did nothing… not even fill out a police report”

I call this BS – 100%. Did you call the cops? Did they arrive ?
NO report? NO arrest ? Give me a break – this is BS

Patriot June 24, 2022 - 2:34 PM - 2:34 PM

Why?
Isn’t he our Congressman at the Federal level????
He’s not a State representative.
Stupid Is As Stupid Does

He needs to stick to his area

Bob June 24, 2022 - 2:36 PM - 2:36 PM

Funniest headline you’ll read this year.

Badge1104 June 24, 2022 - 2:53 PM - 2:53 PM

Earth to Marky….Earth to Marky….. are you there?…..nope…still in a left orbit out there.
He does no good for his constituents. And he is done no good to help us average citizens. He is part of the problem! Both crime and economy.

Cellophane June 24, 2022 - 3:21 PM - 3:21 PM

I think it’s a crime that Mark is still our congressman.

Savagette June 24, 2022 - 5:39 PM - 5:39 PM

A virtual town hall? This guy if such a POS.

The Fearless Spectator June 24, 2022 - 10:06 PM - 10:06 PM

Progress?
He must be referring to beating people with guns as opposed to shooting people with guns. I suppose they would consider that progress.

ConcordMike June 25, 2022 - 12:13 AM - 12:13 AM

DeSaulnier, a former restauranteur in downtown Concord. What other credentials does he have to be a Congressman? Law enforcement experience? None.
If you decriminalize everything, sure you’re going to have a reduction in crime.

CA Mom June 25, 2022 - 5:36 AM - 5:36 AM

Gun purchasers need to provide two references who are willing/able to vouch for purchaser. These names/phone numbers/addresses would be provided to gun dealer prior to purchase and become part of the waiting period for the purchase of a fire arm. The dealer would need to obtain proof reference via driver’s license or other official form of identification. All costs, which should be few, would be at the gun dealers expense. If purchaser cannot find two people to sign for him/her, there is no purchase for at least six months. This would provide someone in the purchaser’s community to speak out if they know something is amiss and that this person should not purchase a firearm without further scrutiny. Most employers require at least one reference before hiring someone, this is an easy step that makes sense.

Brian June 27, 2022 - 5:46 PM - 5:46 PM

I would definitely go, but I do not do comedy shows
If he thinks crimes been reduced, he has no clue.
