A 5-year-old girl who was killed in a freeway shooting Saturday night has been identified as Eliyanah Crisostomo, according to the Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau.
The girl was hit by gunfire about 6:40 p.m. while she was with her family in a car traveling south on Interstate Highway 880, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Eliyanah was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A gofundme site set up to help the family said Eliyanah was “a fun-loving little girl who loved life, had a giving heart, close with her three siblings, especially her brother who were 11 months apart. ”
She would have turned 6 years old in less than 2 weeks. The family was going to a restaurant in Milpitas for a family birthday dinner, according to the GoFundMe site.
Investigators said Sunday they’re still investigating the case.

Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of man. What a horrible shame. I think the killers got caught in Santa Cruz. A little three year old just got shot to death in Chicago IL also.
