Sadly, things were better under every other President in the history of the United States, even better than under little o. I hope we can overcome the fix that is in.
Unless one of those things was job creation. At this point in his presidency Trump had created 5,808,000 jobs. Biden has created 13,954,000.

I mean it’s odd that you never learned basic addition and subtraction but:
When Trump took office, the U.S. had 145.6 million nonfarm jobs (per Bureau of Labor Statistics). When Biden took office the U.S. had 143 million nonfarm jobs. In 30 months we have risen to 156.2 million. If you want to subtract the difference between what they started with (because you want your candidate to have special treatment), you could subtract 2.6 million jobs to give them an even starting point. That still leaves Biden with creating twice as many jobs in the same amount of time.
When have we had liberalism in the last 30 years? We had neoliberalism which is akin to fascism. Joe wants to turn the US into New Venezuela. Frankly I think it’s better if the whole thing crashes and we start over again.

Yes, I’ve seen a lot of those interviews…..most didn’t know who fought in the Civil War, and yet these people get to vote. As “Max” said, people don’t read or can’t read, which I believe is why we’ve ended up with Prop 47 (Safe Schools Act, my ass).

The last few evenings I rewatched the 2013 BBC original “Utopia” and it’s second season both on Blu-ray. It was very popular back then and those shows were uploaded to YouTube since it wasn’t shown stateside. You can find it a number of places and yes the whole season is still on YouTube. It’s also on Amazon (along with the Amazon remake) but it’s Pan and Scan which I suspect HBO did that because HBO was going to do a remake using David Fincher directing but Fincher wanted to do it in sequence which would have cost too much. HBO was always stretching “scope” shows up to fill the screen. That a travesty with this show because it has beautiful widescreen composition some scene looking like paintings. And how many shows on IMDB get 8/10 ratings with thousands of ratings?
Amazon did the remake with another director but it’s not as good as the BBC version. Back in 2013-14 we thought it was just a great sci-fi series but now after the pandemic something different and amazingly prophetic.

Asked him to multiply cost per week by four (month), then multiply by twelve (year), about then light bulb came on and color drained from his face when realization of what his coffee habit cost him per year.

Made up an 11×17 sheet demonstrating effect of compounding on retirement savings, gave them out to new employees. Showed two people both same age, first person put $2,000 per year in retirement account and did so for 12 years then stopped contributions. Second person began contributing to retirement account year first person stopped, and continued contributions each year until retirement. Both experienced same interest rate on savings and both retired at same time with roughly equal amounts in their retirement accounts.

Prior to graduating high school kids need to be thinking about their financial future, savings cushion and retirement.
