First responders deployed anti-overdose medication to three different people on BART trains on Friday, according to police logs.

Narcan– the device that delivers the opioid antagonist naloxone, which reverses the effects of overdoses– was used on three men over a period of six hours.

The first call came in at the 24th Street station in San Francisco at 4:35 p.m. BART Police officers were on patrol in the Mission when they were dispatched to a man on board a train who was unresponsive. Officers determined that the man was overdosing and administered two doses of naloxone. The man was taken to the hospital for further care, police said.

Just after 10 p.m., another person was discovered unresponsive and determined to be overdosing at the Coliseum station in Oakland. The man was given one dose of naloxone and taken to the hospital for further treatment.

Then at 10:28 p.m. at the Civic Center station in San Francisco, staff at the station found a man lying unresponsive on the platform who appeared to be suffering from an overdose, police said. Officers responded and deployed Narcan, then emergency medical personnel arrived and took over life-saving measures. The man regained consciousness and then ran out of the station, BART Police said.

Why are BART trains and stations operating as Homeless facilities?????
This IS NOT their purpose. There needs to be hearings and questions to the BART Board and the BART Board needs to be completely replaced if they cannot give a Realistic account.

ANON,
.
It’s not the BART Board minority that’s the problem, it’s the BART Board majority that’s the problem.

We know where the drugs funnel in from, yet our treason leader in charge is welcoming millions of unchecked illegals from all over the globe, and that includes people bringing backpacks full of drugs. If you voted for this, make amends by not making the same mistake twice. Literally EVERYTHING was better before Biden and his merry twisted clan took power.

Merry Christmas

Yes. Why are we spending money for these low-lifes who don’t even care about themselves? If we charged them for the dose and response cost, then sure. But for taxpayers to foot this bill? Theivery.

I’m certainly thankful that our family has no addiction issues. Life has been a struggle at times, but we adapt and overcome the best we can. It appears Bart has become the Junkie Express and all I hear about this huge problem from most of our elected leaders is providing Narcan vending machines and safe injection sites. Am I missing something here?
