Concord Police Department Launching New And Improved Online Reporting System

The Concord Police Department is launching a new and improved online reporting system in early May called the Desk Officer Reporting System (DORS). Replacing the older ePolice Reports system, DORS offers a faster, easier way to report non-emergency crimes such as theft, vandalism, fraud, and more.

DORS integrates with CPD’s internal systems to improve tracking and crime statistics. Another new feature is Quick Connect, which allows dispatchers to instantly send a reporting link via text—no need to write down a web address. A Spanish-language version of DORS and updates to the Merchant Program Portal are also coming soon as part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve access and community engagement.

For more information or to access the online reporting system, visit CPD’s website.

Good idea – what is the commitment time to respond to and / or act on reporting from the public? Will the results be available to the public?

It takes them 2 weeks to even think about writing up an accident report, last to time took them 6 weeks after telling CPD i will file a complaint against the officer for doing nothing.Do they not realize when your car is wrecked and you cant get a police report to show who is at fault, they insurance co will not allow you to rent a car and if you dont want to take a chance renting a car and not getting reimbursed for it,you are walking. There was time that cops wrote all their police reports after their shift,at the station, before going home, no matter how long it took. What happened?

Anything for them to not do any real legwork and be the highest paid PD in the county, with nothing getting better.
