Who remembers the giant dinosaur on top of the old Keenan Heinz Company on East St. in downtown Concord?

The dinosaur was placed on the building just a few years ago, but the company had to take it down after the City of Concord told them they didn’t have the proper permits to put it on the roof.

It was fun while it lasted.

How about the airplane on top of Molli/ Agave next to to Brenden from the previous restaurant. That was also not legal but it remained for a while.

A giant 20′ bottle or Winners Cup, only the beat will do with your plaque on the bottom.

There was a dinosaur on top of CAMS(Concord Automotive Machine Service) back in the 60s like that one, the city made them take it down. The dinosaur pictured is a homage to the original one. Back when Cliff’s Shoe Repair was across East St.

The proper permits… Local government “permitting” a (once free) citizen to display, alter or repair their own property.

Well Folks January 31, 2023 - 8:31 AM - 8:31 AM

I loved the dinosaur. I was so happy to see him in Lafayette when the business moved there.
So glad I live somewhere that allows fun and funky art in front of and on top of businesses and peoples yards
