I think my favorite story of the week is about the President of the Chicago Teacher’s Union. Ms. Stacy Davis Gates was called out for sending her son to a private high school. When questioned by the media about this hypocrisy Ms. Davis Gates said, “This was a difficult and painful decision, however, it was the best school for my child to grow into a black man.” This coming from the same lady who slammed school choice and vouchers as being racist. You can’t make this stuff up.

The economy is doing much better than when Trump left office.
The job market remains really strong. Unemployment is at 3.8 percent, and wages are rising. Inflation, at just over 3 percent, is finally cooling, too. The Inflation Reduction Act has spurred investment in manufacturing.

The Democrats and Republicans protect all establishment candidates, regardless of party affiliation, unless they intentionally want one out (like Andrew Cuomo for example). In 2023, the Republicans had/have 14 major party candidates, but they haven’t all been allowed to participate in the first Republican debate. This year the Republican Party has designed their debates to get candidates out of the presidential debates and out of the presidential race, so that only one candidate will be left to take on Donald Trump. Donald Trump is a threat to establishment control and establishment existence, and so he must be stopped, because he can’t be controlled and his supporters can’t have a voice.
