Cockroaches Found In Soy Sauce Container – Pho Sam Restaurant In San Ramon Shut Down Due To Vermin Infestation

Pho Sam restaurant, located on San Ramon Valley Blvd. in San Ramon, was closed on Dec.7 due to a vermin infestation.

Here’s what the health department says they found during a routine inspection:

• Live cockroaches (2 dozen) noted throughout the kitchen.
• Live cockroaches were noted below the kitchen handsink, on the handsink, left of the 3 comp sink on the wall, in the cabinet left of the 3 compartment sink, under the 3 door refrigerator, etc.
• Dead cockroaches noted on the walls near the microwave.
• Dead cockroaches found in the oven.
• Dead cockroaches in the open soy sauce container under the microwave, on floor under the prep table, etc.
