Contra Costa County lifted curfew as of 1 pm today

Cellophane June 4, 2020 - 3:34 PM - 3:34 PM

Open everything now.

Stop this sophomoric nonsense now.

luvmycats June 4, 2020 - 3:53 PM - 3:53 PM

You all spout off but I do not see anyone revolting. OPEN this County up. With or without approval. This is utterly ridiculous! 38 people have died in a county of over 1.2million.

Softball Whote June 4, 2020 - 3:59 PM - 3:59 PM

OPEN UP THE DAMN SOFTBALL FIELDS! They can riot but people can not play ball? Come on now!

Barbosa June 4, 2020 - 4:21 PM - 4:21 PM

I didn’t see rioting on the list. Obviously that’s been cleared to go for a while now.

AMY June 4, 2020 - 4:56 PM - 4:56 PM

all I want to know is when can I eat chicken fried steak at Mins Kitchen again? HURRY UP!!!

The Fearless Spectator June 4, 2020 - 5:34 PM - 5:34 PM

Thousands of kids want to have a real high school graduation. If they agree to protest, can they hold a public ceremony?

anon June 4, 2020 - 5:51 PM - 5:51 PM

Swimming pools still closed? Maybe chlorine will kill the corona virus?

Mike June 4, 2020 - 6:03 PM - 6:03 PM

If masks work, why can’t a professional cut my hair?

Dakota June 4, 2020 - 6:15 PM - 6:15 PM

Open up Salons, we all need haircuts

Melissa Christensen June 4, 2020 - 6:24 PM - 6:24 PM

This is ridiculous! We are no longer in a state of emergency and you need to open up our county. Our county officials are breaking the law by not allowing us to open up our businesses. A simple announcement is all it takes: CCC residents we are no longer in a state of emergency, we will now go back to doing business as usual. Thank you! You do not need to listen to the health advisor who is an unelected official. Vote to open us up and hurry! I got my hair and wax on today in CCC, behind your back. Maids have been serving my house since may 3rd and gatherings of 12 or more have been happening all over the place since April 30th. Wake up and stop being a tyrant!

Gititogether June 4, 2020 - 9:17 PM - 9:17 PM

Lesson from 2020: The year of dictatorial politicians and the ignorant who surrendered to them. Reminds me of childhood Teacher neighbor’s favorite, nagging, saying; “those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it”.

Bob June 4, 2020 - 9:23 PM - 9:23 PM

I have recently been in stores in Sacramento, Solano, and placer county and most don’t wear masks and I feel like I just came from an infested county. I better take this mask off so I can blend in. It’s not an infested county so stop with all the regulations. Open this county up

Anonymous June 4, 2020 - 9:44 PM - 9:44 PM

This is for our county overlords who I hope will be replaced next election.

Just go about your business, but carry a sign. Hold Church service, get a haircut, have a party, hold graduation ceremonies, have a wedding or a funeral, but have a sign with you. If anyone confronts you, just say you are protesting. That will be sufficient.

Ano June 5, 2020 - 1:39 AM - 1:39 AM

At this point CCC is just loosing out on all kinds of sales revenue tax. We are just going to other open areas.

I was in Turlock yesterday and no restrictions. We went and sat down at Tahoe Joes , had great service, and it was so nice to eat in a restaurant.
No one had masks on.

Mary June 5, 2020 - 8:42 AM - 8:42 AM

VOTE THEM OUT NEXT ELECTION. Only way to get your voice heard.

The Stoic June 5, 2020 - 5:49 AM - 5:49 AM

Look at the graphic. Take note of what is still restricted. What does this tell us?

The Wizard June 5, 2020 - 6:26 AM - 6:26 AM

When is CCC going to issue the orange jumpsuits and orange masks.

The Wizard June 5, 2020 - 9:55 AM - 9:55 AM

And I forgot, slip on shoes

Yves Harlowe June 5, 2020 - 9:37 AM - 9:37 AM

I see restaurants are still only partially open. We’re headed to Benicia late this afternoon for a dinner with family members. Benicia is open for business. I’m really looking forward to a sit-down meal and do some socializing.

Now, if I can only find someplace to get a haircut. I’ve called a few places in Benicia and Fairfield, but so far can’t get an appointment.
