Jamba Juice, located at 5542 Ygnacio Valley Rd. in Concord (Clayton Valley shopping center), was robbed at knifepoint this evening.
The robber pulled a knife on employees, according to witnesses.
No other information is currently available.

Is my memory fooling me, or are there too many previous criminal activities at this center? Wasn’t CVS, either in the store or right outside it, attacked at least once (I’m thinking more than once)? Time for the center to hire better security before customers start avoiding that area and shop elsewhere.
Is there some kind of problem housing near that area? Isn’t there also occasional criminal activity near the Lucky shopping center too?

Store security is often told not to interfere with shoplifting, let alone a robbery with a knife. Only the police, pointing a gun stops activity like this.

So half of us will say “It’s a good thing it was a knife and not a gun” and the other half will say “Too bad there was no one with a firearm so they could cancel his ticket right then and there.”
I wonder if the robber was vaccinated? Was he wearing a mask?
But seriously folks, Concord PD should round up all of the homeless at the nearby encampments. That’s probably where your robber lives.

When the police catch the criminals, they are simply cited and release.
Chance of the DA prosecuting are almost zero.
Which pretty much means there is no punishable crime.
The bleeding hearts must be swimming in tears of joy.
