when seconds count, law enforcement is minutes away.
Prepare accordingly.
Intruders have rights too.
(Right to meet their maker)
Good to see someone fighting back in their home trespassing and attacking hearsay has it. If entirely true resident gets a thumbs up!
Well…if the description is accurate, the homeowner didn’t do anything wrong.
Deterrence
Ya, that old boy died of natural causes,,,,natural to line of work he was in.
I’ve lived in Martinez and the homeless there are in class all by themselves and this is par for the course. Wierdest bunch of screaming drunks i’ve ever seen.
Downtown Martinez is a lot different than the areas out by Concord and Pleasant Hill. I used to own a house in the Hidden Lakes area (lived there 8 years) and homeless people were not a thing in that neighborhood. I have a friend that lives in the same area and he’s never had an issue with homeless people.
Sold the house in 2020 and now own a house in Richmond/El Sobrante. I like it so much more out here.
Good for the home owner. He had the right to protect himself whether he knew him or not. In today’s world, quick action is needed.
That is a nice neighborhood of million dollar + homes and the two men involved knew each other. I’m thinking there is more to this story and nobody can possibly be arriving to accurate conclusions about it with such a meager amount of information.
The only remaining problem is some long lost relative will sue the homeowner for wrongful death. Wish the homeowner success in coming litagation.
“sustained significant injuries” I can only imagine… baseball bat??? knife??
Whole thing sounds sketchy as hell to me.
But if this truly is an innocent defending their home against
Threatening aggression, well done sir or ma’am. 🫡
