Brian Greene is good. I have Hidden Reality and absorbed what I could, just like any book of its genre, but like you say, I'm working on it. It's a little dusty at the moment.

I think hammer proof display cases would be my next move. Don’t need some panicked rent-a-cop cooking off rounds in the mall.

I have done a few paintings of Heather Farms over the last 30 years. In the mid 90's they destroyed a lot of its beauty. I did some paintings just two years ago at that pond. I can't imagine they…

In the case of the Sun Valley robbery it's a moot point because it was a kiosk in the middle of the mall. I have personally observed most high end jewelry stores already have Security Guards.

As long as we continue to be so absolutely limp-wristed on dealing with criminals, I'm sad to say we just can't have nice things (jewelry stores) in this state.

  • OutInTheStix

Can't believe people actually buy and wear jewelry that has any obvious value. Really just places a target on your back and marks out your home as a repository of things to be burgled. Ladies in our family tend to…

We wouldn't need guards if we make jewelry stores like New York democrat mayor candidate Mamdani proposes to make everything free in stores. If groceries are free, surely jewelry must be free too because everyone deserves jewelry! Right? Oh the…

If I owned a jewelry store, I would, at least in this area. Though I see the evolution of this as the "rebellious yutes" eventually just coming in firing and the shop owners/guards being prosecuted.
